Shirley Summers my hero

Shirley Summers is great at selling her books. At 93 she has memorized most of her 50 poems. She can recite like Paul Harvey. About 6 months ago, she gave me a call to discuss creating a poetry book. I was impressed at her phone skills and soon learned she had been a telephone operator for 35 years. We met, I spoke with her grand daughter to get permission to work with her. I try to make it a policy to always talk to a responsible adult when working with anyone dependent. Shirley lives alone but depends upon her grand children for the big decisions.

Today 25 new books came in the mail. She has sold over 100 books and is still going strong. She even sold one at McDonald the other day! I think the fact that she can recite these poems really helps.
